Description
In Greek mythology, Medusa, one of the three Gorgon sisters, sported a hairdo of serpents and the mere sight of her could turn a man into stone. No worry here, as she's close to stone herself...but pity the poor mouse who's just become lunch!This relief tile is hand pressed in stoneware and glazed in deep blue green, which is sponged off the raised portions, emphasizing its sculptural dimension.
Tile measures roughly 5 and 5/8 inches high by 5 and 5/8 inches wide and is about 5/8 of an inch thick at the edges.
It is notched on the back so it can hang on a nail.
