Kiss of the Spider Woman - Rectangular Victorian Lampshade

Description

This fabulous black and gold shade will add the perfect gothic touch to your decor.

Completely hand sewn with three layers of fabric, white lining, followed by black China silk and finally covered with stunning voided silk/rayon velvet in a black floral. The two smaller panels are covered in a black stripe silk velvet. The collar around the bottom is covered with antique spiderweb lace that has gold silk behind it. The light from this combination of fabrics is stunning.

The bottom is embellished with 2 fringes 4-5" long all glass beaded fringe in metallic hues and 7" black rayon fringe. The entire shade is trimmed with gold metallic braid.

Dimensions are approximately 14X9" with a 3" deep rim around the bottom. This shade has an uno fitting for a bridge lamp but is shown with an adapter for a lamp with a harp or riser and finial. 1, 60 watt or 2, 40 watt bulbs recommended depending on type of lamp used.
