CLOSEOUT Pine Student Shakuhachi

Description

This is a natural bamboo Shakuhachi. Each flute I make I try and discern its character before I design the art for it. Art to reflect its voice as each piece of bamboo has its own natural voice. I do not coat the bore of my flutes with resin or other paints. Only a light coating of almond oil to keep moisture at bay. I also bind my flutes with jute or cotton twine for further protection. I make sure each flute is playable and enjoyable. These instruments are intended for meditation or for the student just beginning.

This flute is almost 3 feet long! Has a deep mellow sound!
