Enchanted Woodland Faerie scarf

Description

The woodland faerie lives deep in the recesses of an enchanted forest. Some say she's a myth but I tend to believe. She spends her day gathering little trinkets left behind by those who have passed through and keeps them safely tucked away in her treasure trunk until she finds the perfect use for each one. The woolen mitten may be unraveled to add a plush coziness for the newborn baby birds' nest, the shimmering gold light of the sun lights up the night in the form of fairy dust, many a left behind hair ribbons have been strategically placed to help guide weary lost travelers out of the forest...

I knit this scarf using a wide mix of different fibers in many shades of green with a touch of oranges, pinks, and golds to resemble an enchanted forest. I've woven through some of my own surprises from burnished gold and sheer green gossamer ribbons, purlized buttons, sheer embroidered fabric, yellow satin ribbon roses and a few handknit leaves.
