Autumnal Juniperus

Description

Junipers are coniferous plants in the genus Juniperus of the cypress family Cupressaceae. Depending on taxonomic viewpoint, there are between 50-67 species of juniper, widely distributed throughout the northern hemisphere, from the Arctic, south to tropical Africa in the Old World, and to the mountains of Central America.

These lovely Juniper cones were found and gathered on forest floors from Argentina, New Mexico, California and Ontario, Canada.
Cast in bronze straight from the cone leaving all detail intact.

Small 2.5 to 3mm peridot or rainbow moonstones are bezel-set on the cones using sterling silver- adding a small 'dew-like' drop of colour.
Hung from a 30" piece of velvet ribbon (brown-bronze, green-bronze, or black) with tiny bells attached to the ribbon's ends.

A magical evergreen forest charm.
Please keep in mind that no two will ever be exactly the same as these are cast straight from the cones themselves- no mold are used, or made.
