Thornmallow
In Jane Yolen's "Wizard's Hall" her main character is a boy who is not very good at being a wizard. But he means well. And he tries. He helps save the day with those very attributes...
With hair the color and shape of dandelion fluff, gooseberry green eyes, and a smudgy nose, Henry is renamed "Thornmallow" for being "prickly on the outside, squishy within".
This is local and locally traded wool, undyed except for the small touches of green, which are dyed Ashford Corriedale. The Merino, which makes up the bulk of it, is from an organic homestead.
