This pad is suitable for a heavy or postpartum flow.

Tired of guessing which pad in you stash would be absorbent enough for that day? WeeEssentials pads are embroidered with small stars on the wing. The number of stars indicate the absorbency level:

1 star – light flow/waterproof pantyliner
2 stars – medium flow
3 stars – heavy/postpartum flow

This maxi pad is made with a rayon-from-bamboo fleece and rayon-from-bamboo terry core, making it both thin and highly absorbent. The entire pad, including the wings, is lined with PUL (a waterproofed fabric) and stitched with 100% polyester thread to keep leaks from happening! Top stitching only in the absorbent layers of the pad directs the flow of moisture toward the center of the pad.

The top of the pad are made with quilter's cotton and the backing uses flannel to keep it in place. The pad measures 9" in length and approximately 3" across when snapped.

CARE: Throw in the wash with your regular laundry and regular detergent and machine dry. This is especially important to do before you wear the pad for the first time. Machine drying will reseal the PUL. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Or, if you want them to last a little longer, choose some or all of the following: wash with a detergent that contains few additives (brighteners, softeners, and fragrance) such as Allen's Naturally or the cheapest generic you can find.
