Lurka Witch and Hedsra

Description

I love this witch. This is another pattern by Kim Kohler. I did not rename them because I loved the names they came with. Lurka is 23 1/2" tall while her pal Hedsra is 16 1/2" tall from the bottom of her stick to the top of her head. The stick has been covered with black material as the hats. I used a black patterned print with stars and mod podged it to their hats. A little stain was added to the hats and to Lurka's dress. Her shoes have been painted on and laces were added. Lurka has an overskirt made from a gauzy black material that has little sparkles in it. This overskirt skirt is only on the front of the doll. Both dolls' hats are held on with ties that go under their chins. I used artists pencils for the faces of each doll and then sprayed with a sealer to protect the color. Her hair was needle felted on.
