Description

Soft and silky, this mercerised cotton yarn is a dream to use. It slides through fabric like butter, either by hand or machine. It would also make an interesting 'knitting in' yarn combined with a heavier thread, or use it for lace or crochet. It is equivalent to a Perle 8

Hand-dyed by me this is an unusual colourway. Dusky Turquoise, Green, Antique Rose, Taupe, other colours too including Old Gold and Marmalade. It really is quite unique. Part of our 'Serendipity' range, in other words, the result of a happy accident, the length of the hank is approximately 240m, and the weight is 25g. It has been fully fixed and rinsed many times to create a thread that can be used for any decorative purpose without the risk of colours running or of any shrinkage.

If you want to use it in the sewing machine I suggest a Topstitch 100 needle, I can supply those too (convo me if you need some) and will also give more detailed instructions of how to use it. Don't worry - no lengthy winding onto machine bobbins is involved!
