Tiny metal escutcheon great for jewelry

Description

I believe this little guy is for a knob of some kind, but I'm not exactly sure! All I know is that I thought it would be a great base piece for a steampunk necklace or brooch. There is a large hole in the center with two smaller holes on either side. The hole measures a half inch wide. There is a blank space below the hole that would be great for glued cabs. The entire little package measures a little less than 2" long and 1.5" wide. It is a great aged brass color. The part with the holes is raised a bit.
