UNUSUAL AND BEAUTIFUL Vintage 14K Yellow Gold Swirl or Wave Circle Pin 1 1/4-in with Cultured Pearl ca 1970-1980
Description
Offered is a lovely 14K yellow gold circle pin with an open-work, swirl design. It reminds me of ocean waves curling just before they break. The curls are alternately polished and florentined and the open-work is an interesting design. At one side a cultured pearl is affixed.The pin is 1 1/4" wide. The pinback is firmly attached and locks securely. The weight of the pin (including pearl) is 0.197 ozt. On the back is stamped .585, the purity of 14kt gold. This piece may have been made in Europe.
This is a beautiful brooch, with absolutely no damage or staining. It appears to have been worn infrequently, if at all.
