Absurd Little Birdhouse, recycled cuckoo clock

Cukoo Cukoo Cukoo.....These clocks aare a delightful reminder of days gone by. Didn't all of us have a grandmother or great aunt who had one. I remember waiting impatiently for the hour to come so that I could watch the little bird pop out of its door!
I found this little clock in a local salvage warehouse being sold for parts and had to have it. I have cleared out the clock mechanism, securely attached all the pieces and have turned it into a home for real birds.
The chain used for the hanger used to hold the weights.
The birds will enter through the side.
The clock has been sealed with high quality satin spar varnish for the ultimate in UV and moisture protection but you'll want to hang this one in a sheltered area as the wood is so old.
The birdhouse measures 10 inches high 6 inches wide and 5 inches deep.
