Starboard Glam - Upcycled Vintage Rockabilly Anchor and Horseshoe Necklace by Savage Salvage

An amazingly sparkly vintage rhinestone horseshoe brooch is the focal point of this one of a kind necklace. It has had all pin parts removed and sanded smooth and is 1" wide. Suspended below swings a beautifully detailed,shiny gold plated, anchor (also formerly a pin). The anchor measures just over 1.5" long. The pendants swing from a length of salvaged vintage gold-tone twist chain.

Necklace measures 18". Pendants drop to 3" landing the anchor just above the bust on an average sized woman. Closes securely with a new goldtone lobster claw closure.

As with all Savagesalvage designs, the objects that I use are recycled, repurposed, vintage and antique. They usually show signs of their past lives. They may have some discoloration, missing stones, or patina from age. All metals may not match perfectly on each design, due to the natural discoloration that occurs with age. I feel that such imperfections lend authenticity to my one of a kind recycled art jewelry. If you don't like things that look archaic and a bit worn, then my designs are probably not for you.
