Hand Spun Single Ply Yarn
Here is a hand spun single ply yarn spun by me from hand dyed Falkland wool, dyed by cloudlover69.etsy.com in new colorway "Villain", shades of burgundy, black, navy blue and gray.
Falkland is "in between" for me as far as softness goes - not as soft/squishy as merino but not as rough as domestic or Romney. The Falkland I get from cloudlover is amazing - spins like a dream for a really nice yarn!
SKEIN 1 : 128 yards, 4.6 oz/130 grams
Wraps per inch: 10-11
Gauge per inch: 4-5
Recommended needles: 7-9 (metric: 4.5-5.5)
Recommended hook: G-H
Worsted weight
Hand wash cold, dry flat
