Irish Crochet Flower Brooch
Description
I made this brooch following an Irish crochet pattern from 1912 for the centre and with leaves that I designed. Glass beads and a swarovski crystal were added for a little touch of sparkle. The leaves have been slightly stiffend with PVA glue to keep them from drooping.This is a large pin, measuring 2 3/4 inches across and 4 inches high (including the leaves). It is made from crochet cotton and has a pin at the back.
