Hinagata doll kimono basic pattern kit for September 2009

Description

This limited edition kit has just the basics: pre-cut fabric and instructions to sew a hitoe yukata, or unlined cotton summer kimono. It is just the right size to fit many different Beanie Baby or similar toys. The doll in the pictures is not included in the kit.

Skill level is basic to intermediate. Experienced stitchers can expect to complete the kit in an afternoon.

Each month I will introduce a new kit. This kit is for September 2009 and sports colors and tones that remind me of the changing leaves and ripening apples of late summer/early autumn, all with a Japanese theme of pine trees and white cranes with a touch of gold.
