Horizon Blue Pyrex Bowl 401 1.5 Pint

Here is one of many vintage Pyrex bowls that I have left in my collection. This bowl is the larger 1 .5 pint size # 401 in the Horizon Blue pattern. The bowl measures 5 ¾” in diameter and stands 3 3/8” high, it is a nice size for mixing small amounts.
This bowl is in excellent clean, damage free condition. The pretty turquoise blue design is vibrant and complete, evidence that it was gently used and hand washed. The outside of the bowl is shiny and smooth, as is the inside, although there are a few light utensil scratches in the bottom.
The bottom of the bowl is marked “ 401 1 ½ pt .Trade mark 32 Pyrex made in USA Ovenware”.
This is an excellent sized bowl for so many uses and pretty enough to use for serving. This bowl matches the larger one listed just before.
Remember, to keep you vintage bowls looking like new for years to come, it is best to hand wash.
