NORTHERN LIGHTS- pair of handspun yarns- 175yards

Description

These two skeins were spun to go together. Each skein is created from a handspun ply of black merino/silk, and a ply of commercial cotton crochet thread (inherited from my great-grandmother and put to use.) The one skein has a purple ply, variegated and ranging from palest lavender to a deep, dark violet. The second skein, of 85 yards, has a ply of pinks, going from the palest rose to a deep, true pink. Each has a wpi of 14, making them about sport weight yarn.

These would look great together, perhaps as two matching items (mittens, perhaps?) or knit in stripes of pink/purple. The possibilities are endless.
