Handwoven ivory lace wedding purse

Description

Simple, pretty, heirloom-quality. I wove a spot weave lace fabric for this item out of fine mercerized cotton weaving yarn. The ivory colored fabric has a subtle sheen and a delicate texture. My original sewing pattern designed for working with handwoven fabric. This drawstring pouch purse is small enough to carry with you as you greet or dance with your wedding guests. The inside is lined with high quality quilter's cotton; drawstrings are made of the same fabric (please see the picture to see the companion fabric used). A stabilizing insert is sewn into the lining so that the purse can stand on its own. Measures approximately 7.5" high by 5.5" wide. Woven and sewn in a smoke-free home.
