Finding Favorites Rebound Journal

Description

Part of my Rebound Journal series, the covers are from a vintage reader “Finding Favorites” by Bernice E. Leary, Edwin C. Reichert and Mary K Reely (1957), illustrated by Gregory Orloff. Finding Favorites was part of the Time to Read Series published in the 1950’s.

Covers are lined with a coordinating striped decorative paper. This journal is Coptic bound with matching green waxed linen thread allowing it to lie perfectly flat when open. The inside is filled with a generous 160 pages (counting both sides), of various reclaimed papers, all blank on one side. Each section of pages is wrapped with a page from the original reader, including book and chapter first pages and the table of contents.

The covers are in excellent condition, owing to the high quality of books made for school use in the 1950’s.

This journal measures 21.5 x 14.5 cm (8.5 x 5.75”).
