I was wondering the other day just what happens when you make a wish. And I guessed the Wish Fairy visits your house and offers you a cupcake. When you blow out the candle, she grants your wish. May all of your wishes come true!

This is an original collage of vintage wallpapers, gold origami papers from my Great Aunt June’s collection, and mixed media I found in my art studio.

The Wish Fairy's paper wings are hand-inked with the word “wish”. And in the back, I scribbled the word "wish" again and again and again until I covered the entire wooden canvas to ensure she hears your wish.

Her face is hand painted using lots of materials for a beautiful mixed media effect. On top of the alchemy of materials, I applied an antique decoupage finish to give the piece a wonderful vintage look, then beeswax to add to the texture for a truly magical effect that can best be appreciated in the close-up shots.

Signed by me, Artist and Illustrator Juliette Crane, this original measures 10" x 10" on gallery-wrapped canvas. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas so you can see her little feet hanging off the bottom edge, and is ready to hang right out of the box!

As with all my original artwork, this is a one of a kind piece that will not be repeated. Get it while it's still available!
