Description

Recycled sari silk is waste silk thread from sari fabric weaving mills. This silk is from my working stash, so I've already gone through and cut it into workable lengths, 3"-4" on average although there will be occasional much longer and shorter pieces mixed in, since this can be messy stuff and some threads escape my scissors! If you've worked with recycled sari silk before, you'll know what an advantage having it already cut into shorter pieces is; if you haven't, the silk normally comes in varying lengths up to many yards long in its raw form, so buying shorter cut pieces like this will be a big time-saver. The 3"-4" length is good for most spinning projects and is what I use to card into my batts or to spin loose.

Not only is this silk pre-cut, but it's also sorted into color groups! I have red/pink, orange/yellow, blue/purple, and green (see photos). When placing an order, please leave a note telling me which of these color group(s) you'd like. You can choose a single color group or a combination of as many as you'd like. Please note that the photos are representative of the range of colors but your order may vary.
