A House In The Sky

A delicate black and white piece that's perfect anywhere!

Inspired by mehndi designs, and using fused plastic on grainy oil painting paper, I embellished this piece with hand stitching to give it even more texture. I then added a crocheted 'cloud' that I made with white yarn, and stitched that to the paper as well.

The paper is a creamy white, and the plastic is slightly whiter. The henna designs are drawn using black marker. It's hard to show the brightness of this pice in a scan.
