Tortoise Shell Superwash Sock Yarn

For some reason, this is my most popular colorway so far! Is it that it's a unisex color that guys won't mind wearing? Is it just an autumn leaf thing? I don't know, but I'm happy to keep making new skeins of Tortoise Shell.

Autumn golds and browns flow across this yarn. It was dyed by the the "hot pour" method, which makes unique skeins. There is plenty here to make an adult pair of socks.

This yarn will be reskeined to take care of any pesky tangles that may have developed during the dyeing process. Please let me know if you'd prefer it in skein form (so elegant for gifts, or looking spiffy in your stash) or made into a center-pull ball AKA yarncake (ready to knit with the moment it arrives). Just put "skein" or "ball" in the Comments to Buyer box as you check out. If you don't specify, I'll reskein it.

Fiber: 75% Superwash Merino wool, 25% nylon
