telecaster pendula III enamel earrings / robin's egg, hazel, mango

Description

here's a throwback to a very early pair of pendula that went off into the world before i had a chance to get to know them. i found a picture and thought that they ought to make another appearance before disappearing to my back pages again.

these colors particularly are evocative of 1960s fender guitars and basses. the mango yellow makes me think of a telecasters favored by pj harvey, the boss, and keith richards. the hazel is a nod to the sunburst finish, and the robin's egg blue is representative of those wacky jazzmaster and jaguar guitars played by my bloody valentine, stereolab, and nirvana.


but enough music snobbery, onto the details:
pendula vary in length from 2" - 2.75" (5 - 7 cm). see slightly-awkward self-portrait photos for scale.

the disc backs are plain copper with some marbled heat patination, initialed, and sealed with gloss lacquer.
