The famous MAX costume from the Maurice Sendak book , "where the Wild Things Are" made from 100% eco-friendly furry fleece made completely from 2 liter soda bottles.
This fabric is also available in bright white or tan. I also use flannel if you live in a warm climate.


I can also make it in a decadent sherpa minky-like fleece that is lined with a soft pastel faux suede. It is the same fabric GAP uses for their sherpa line. It is shaggy and off-white if you want to invest an additional $30+, but it does look more like the movie Max. (but is $29/yard)
I am happy to send swatches of sample fabrics if you want to see the fabrics before deciding. Please convo with your mailing address.

I am currently making my Max costumes more distinctly aligned with the movie Max costume or the book Max, but you will need to tell me which features you want. All are now one piece with the hood, paws and claws attached. Hidden front zip, pompoms down the front and a bushy bouncy tail in either gray or black. Options have included buttons vs the pompoms, gloves vs the paws, back zippers, slipper feet, and removable foot claws. Let me know if you need a special request. All requests need to be made in one complete convo with measurements, fabric, and deadline, if you do not mind so I can print them and attach them to the costume as it is made as to not forget the details of each.

Order early as these will be HOTHOTHOT for Halloween and Christmas after your little one falls in love with Max and the Wild Things from Maurice Sendak's book- Where the Wild Things Are" and now being made into a movie this fall.

All sizes available upon request. Prices vary from $89 for small children- to $110 for larger kids, and $180-220 for adults! I am also beginning work on Moishe the Wild Thing in the striped tee with the bushy head and horns :-)
