Lampwork Seashell Focal Bead (1)

Description

This seashell would make a stunning focal piece to a thick, fringy coral stitch necklace with lots of pearls and crystals and silver. Or if you’re feeling less formal, it would also look great simply wired as a pendant to wear on your favorite necklace or silk ribbon.

This seashell was wound on a 1/16" mandrel for a hole size of approximately 2mm. The bead measures 37mm lengthwise and the hole runs the length of the bead through the center.

I am a Self Representing Artist and all the lampwork beads I offer for sale are lovingly handmade by me in my Florida Studio. I use Moretti, Vetrofond, Lauscha, System 96, Reichenbach, CIM, ASK, and Double Helix glass. I also like to use fine silver foil, dichroic glass, aventurine and various frits. All of my beads go from the flame directly into a digitally controlled kiln so they stay happy and stress-free. Annealing my beads in this way insures durability and long life.
