Vintage Hymnal Paper Wreath

Spruce up your decor in its Sunday Best with this black and cream music wreath scuplture!

This wreath (the second one made from this book) is made from pages of an old song book called Victory Songs and is dated circa 1920. The center medallion is embellished with the title page from the book. It has been surrounded by a hand pleated, ivory crepe paper ruffle. A wire hanger is attached to the base on the back. The black grosgrain ribbon may be removed from the wire loop if desired. The back / base of the book is the original book cover. This wreath is signed and dated on the back, as well as having the name and date of the book used. This particular wreath is approximately 16" in diameter.

These wreaths make great focal accessories for antique, cottage, farmhouse, or vintage style decors. They really stand out when hung over an antique mirror, a window, or on a door (barring inclement weather). Hang them at a special event, hang one to add vintage charm to your autumn party ~ wherever you desire something unique.

I don’t destroy perfectly good books as a rule, and use books that are falling apart, have pages missing, have scribbles, or are damaged in one way or another.
