1940s Vintage BUTTERICK PATTERN - COSTUME Penguin Devil
Description
Vintage Original Sewing Pattern, Costumes, Size 14-16 (34 breast).Butterick Pattern #4695, dates to the late 1940s. (I believe this is from 1947.)
Costumes for Masquerade or Fancy Dress.
Description reads: Group of four masquerade costumes for youngsters or grown-ups: (A) The droll penguin in colorful contrast. (B) The playful kitten. (C) The amusing monkey. (D) Gay and mischievous devil costume complete with "horns" and flowing cape.
Unprinted pattern is complete except for the hand piece for views B, C, and D which is MISSING. It is the shape of a mitten so it should not be too hard to recreate!
The envelope is split open on one side but it is not torn, looks like the glue quit holding. Otherwise, the envelope is pretty clean.
