Introducing "Spontaneous Spinning Clouds"!!! This is the softest, fluffiest, yummiest blend of fiber you could ever dream of spinning. Like my Spontaneous Spinning Batts, they are an eclectic blend of goodies carded spontaneously. With my SSBs, that means I try to not over-think what I put on the drum carder. Unlike my SSBs, these clouds are carded on my carding machine- not my drum carder.

I recently invested in a mini mill carding machine and am excited to roll out a bunch of goodies I'll be creating on this amazing piece of equipment. Spontaneous Spinning Clouds are one of these new products. Clouds are the carded fibers that come through the carding machine before it goes onto a large drum to become a batt or through a roving attachment to become roving. It is also referred to as "the web." This fiber is super light, fluffy, and oh so soft and resembles clouds as it comes off the carder. It is also just about the easiest thing in the world to spin. You don't have to draft- just take a bunch of the fluff in your hand and spin from it!

My Spontaneous Spinning Clouds are different from most other clouds because each batch contains the wide variety of fiber and colors I love to use. These clouds will produce a yarn with lots of interesting texture as well as super fun color combinations. It is especially well-suited for spinners who like to spin finer yarns than my SSBs allow, and is perfect for the art yarn spinner who is addicted to corespinning. ;) Corespinning with this stuff is absolutely effortless!

I will be carding batches of clouds in OOAK batches and will sell it in 4 oz. increments. These colorways are not repeatable, so if you like it, get enough for your project while it's in the shop.
