October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

This Lil' Pixie was created in honor of my sister and a dear friend who have both bravely battle this disease and to all others touched by it. Last year, 40,480 women died of breast cancer in the U.S., according to the Mayo Clinic's Embody Health magazine. Early detection saves lives. Have you had your mammogram?

Arms and legs of the Lil' Pink Pixie are wrapped around a wire armature so the body can be gently posed. Dress is incredibly soft hand dyed roving from Elliebelly. She holds a wool breast cancer symbol close to her heart. There may be a slight variation among individual dolls.

Pixie is faceless in the Waldorf tradition. If you would like me to add a face, please convo.
