Four Fall Leaves with Turquoise Tooled Necklace

I can smell it in the air: that faint hint of fall, that slightly different angle of light... the sun going to bed a bit earlier than he has been for some time....
Even though the winter isn't my favorite season I crave fall in the worst way:
the apples
the leaves!
the boot and sweater weather...
This is my homage: four tooled leaves in fall shades: the center two are lightest brown fading into red and the outside leaves are red fading into chocolate: they are hand-tooled from excellent quality veg-tanned leather, painstakingly colored with layer after layer of antique and paint.
The chain consists of sterling diamond connectors fastened with hand-wrapped turquoise beads with their natural texture and a lovely glossy shine.
The total length is just over 19 inches.
This is a one of a kind piece, sure to last lifetimes.
