Sterling Silver JPL Chainmail Necklace

Tiny solid sterling silver jump rings were individually opened, woven, and closed to create this gorgeous understated chainmaille necklace.

Sometimes, you just need a basic, elegant necklace that will go with everything. If you're wearing show stopping earrings and a bright shade of lipstick, the last thing you need is a necklace that will compete with everything else you've already got going on. You need something that is simple, but still simply amazing.

That is where this necklace comes in! Woven in bright, shiny sterling silver, it will complement most outfits well (especially "cool toned" ensembles).

Jens Pend Linkage is a pretty spiral weave of chainmaille. It has to be woven with JUST the right size of ring, with the smallest inner diameter to wire gauge ratio that most maillers use in any project. This necklace is woven with 22 gauge rings, which are TINY. The tight weave is very stable.

From a distance, it looks like a basic chain, but when your friends get closer and get a good look, they will be amazed to learn that your necklace was handmade. Yes, I really wove each ring one at a time! It is very fluid and flexible.

Comes with a solid sterling silver toggle clasp, but if you prefer the more slim look of a lobster or spring ring clasp, let me know and I will change the clasp out for you for no charge. Most pendants will not fit onto this chain unless they have very large bails due to the toggle clasp. If you'd like to use this chain for pendants you already own, let me know and I will switch to a spring ring clasp for you. :)
