Beachball Striped Altoid Tin

Description

I was inspired to make this tin by a day on the beach. Each stripe has subtle variations of color within it. Each color was custom blended out or polymer clay, then I covered a recycled altoid tin.

These tins have so many uses:

Decorative on a shelf or table
Business card holder
Coin Purse
Altoid tin (who knew?)
Candy
Sewing Kit
Gift Box
Gift Card Holder
I put my lipstick and gloss of the day in mine for easy finding.
To hold any small trinkets so they don't get lost
Anything else you can think of!

An altoid tin is 3.75 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and .75 inches deep.

It has been sanded in 4 different grits for a smooth finish and topped with a high gloss varnish for durability.
