Handmade Heavily Oxidized Copper Clasp

I decided to play around a little with some copper wire that I had laying around and made a few clasps... they turned out great so I thought I'd share! This clasp is stylish... it has some really sweet curves and has been strategically hammered for a nice look. It also features a wire-wrapped focal point which has been soldered for stability and has also been oxidized to a black finish. It can easily be transformed to a coppery brown color with the dark tones being left in the low spots by gently buffing with steel wool. I'm pleased with the result... it's just really pretty!

This copper clasp is 24mm long and 9mm wide at it's widest point.
