Wow, glass never ceases to amaze me. The colors that are swirling within this bead are incredible, blues, beiges, browns and a touch of lavender and fuscia. Beautiful. I caped it off with sterling silver caps just to give it the finish it deserves. I made 2 beads like this, this one is more of a barrel shape.

Bead Measurements: 12mm outside diameter 6mm inside hole diameter x 17mm wide
Glass used: Italian and German

Of course, all of my beads are annealed in a temperature controlled kiln overnight to settle the glass molecules and give them strength. But, keep in mind, they are GLASS and will still break if not handled properly.
