This is an amazing scrapbook keepsake detailing one couple's courtship and marriage. The cover says it's a true story - I wonder if it's so?

This wonderful book measures 11" tall and 9" wide. It's held together with a light pink ribbon and includes 12 pages plus the front and back covers.

The cover reads "This is a true story of Polly and Peter." and includes a very attractive Harrison Fisher-type illustration.

Each of the subsequent pages includes illustrations and blank and white photographs, probably taken from old magazines and periodicals. Each page details another step in their relationahip, beginning with their own childhood and continuing through to their small children.

All of the text is handwritten, each page is on cardboard which appears to have originally been green. Many of the pages have turned a chocolate color. This piece is in very good vintage condition, with just some scuff marks and soft edges.
