Description

This hand dyed pima cotton fat quarter is a feast for the eye of anyone who loves the moss covering a forest floor. A beautiful mixture of greens and yellow greens playing with the sunlight as it dapples through the leaves on the trees.

Pima cotton is a softer, smoother, and more tightly woven fabric than muslin. The dye textures are in finer detail than on a muslin fabric. I use Procion dyes which are a fiber reactive dye and not a staining dye such as RIT. This makes for a colorfast fabric which can be used in quilts, garments, accessories, and my favorite; applique. How I love the applique. The pima cotton is especially nice for stamping because of it's smooth finish.

This listing is for one fat quarter. My fat quarters run at least 18" by 22", many are a bit larger. I can sell you a one yard or more piece for $18.00 per yard and my fabric is 52" wide.
