Flower Earrings in Sterling Silver (925) FREE SHIPPING in the U.S.

These earrings are part of my sterling silver flower set. I solder each link together by hand, which provides strength and prevents from loosing any pieces.

When I designed the original links for this chain, I actually made them first in wax. Step 2 is making a mold of the wax, (this way I can make more wax flowers). Once the wax flowers are ready they are set in plaster. After the plaster cures, the wax is burned out in a kiln. The last part is my favorite: I get to start up the torch and heat the silver until it is molten!! The process takes place on a machine that provides a spinning motion, injecting the molten metal into the plaster casting. (Dentists actually use this process to make crowns for teeth as well!)

After all the hard work is done I have some clean-up work to do so I can give them a final polish. I also offer these earrings with a patina, which gives them a bit more of an antique look. Pictured is the bright finish.

::: THE SPECS :::

They are 2" in length and 1/2" in width, and hang from ear wires that resemble the petals of the flowers. If you would like post style or lever backs PLEASE SPECIFY which you prefer in your order! Your choice of post style earrings or fish hooks, both come with extra rubber backs. I will automatically ship the bright finish. If you would like the antique patina please tell me in the ‘notes’ section of your order.
