vintage 20s - 30s FLAPPER wedding dress net LACE and chiffon
Description
Light as a feather, v-neck goddess gown. Finely spun champagne net lace over original chiffon slip. Fitted through the hips with a gently gathered two tier bottom skirt ending in chiffon.An exquisitely delicate dress deserving of the most special occasions. Not perfect, but totally wearable.
Condition issues:
Some breaks & small holes in the lace. Flea bites in the chiffon, some have been repaired. Subtle darkening of lace under arms. Lace under the arms has been reinforced. This repair must have been done long ago as the lace looks to be of the same period. Same for the floral applique centered at the bust.
Measurements with slip lying flat are as follows:
16" bust
16" waist
19" hips
55" long.
