Persuasion Dichroic Glass Necklace

Description

The dichroic glass cabochon used in this pendant is the 2nd fused glass cabochon I ever created. I love the metallic look with the shimmering yellows, pinks and blues that peek through.

I created a bezel and bail with beadweaving using peyote stitch and size 11 and size 15 glass seed beads in black, silver, yellow and blue. The necklace chain is tubular peyote using size 15 rocaille glass beads. I was pleasantly surprised by the chain maille look of the beaded chain.

The necklace is 17" (43cm) long. The pendant hangs down 1 1/2" (3.8cm) and is 1 1/4" (3.2cm) wide at the widest part. The last picture shows the back of the pendant.
