The stone has long been prized as a powerful talisman with healing properties. It is said that turquoise can help balance the throat chakra (the blue chakra), increasing resistance to viruses and helping to relieve sore throats, lung infections and the affects of allergies.

The small clear beads are charlottes, which are special Czech glass seed beads that have been cut on one side. This gives the bead a sparkling faceted look that is much more elegant than a simple round bead.

Because the stones I used in this necklace are natural, this piece can never be exactly duplicated. It is a genuine one-of-a-kind. The necklace measures 19 ½”. If you are unsure of how it will fit, I suggest cutting a string to measure 19 ½” and hold it up to see where it will sit on your neck. The beads are strung on high strength 49-strand nylon coated stainless steel, which is very flexible, kink resistant and waterproof.
