Bright Petals - hammered sterling earrings
Description
This is simply my interpretation of a single petal. The shape may remind you of something else, and that's fine too.This is an earring with lots versatility and plenty of pizzaz.
I begin by cutting the basic shape out of sterling silver sheet and then forging (hammering)it with a cross peen hammer for the texture. This texture really catches the light. I then solder on the hand formed hook and gently fold the silver into the organic petal shape. The bright silver is accented with the warmth of the gold filled beads.
The total length is 1 inch - 25mm
