SALE Large Floating Blue Mug with lid

Description

This mug is made from white stoneware and was thrown on a potters wheel. Large leaves of different size and shapes were then carved into this piece while it was still wet. It was glazed with my floating blue glaze.

This mug is so special because it comes with a lid to keep your beverage warm or to rest your tea bag in or even to carry a few cookies or tea biscuits in. The lid fits nice and snug so no worries about wobbling.

I love this glaze because it really varies in color from light blue where it pools in the leaf pattern to dark brown. It has such a beautiful range of colors throughout this one piece.

This mug measures 4 ½ inches x 3 1/8 inches. It holds about 1 ¾ cups or 14 ounces. It is also microwave safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is always best.
