Sun and Moon Batik Seminole Patchwork Dress

Description

This amazing dress is made from some beautiful batik cotton fabrics. The main fabric is a navy, gold, fuschia and tan batik with suns, moons and stars all over it. On the skirt there are four vertical stripes of Seminole patchwork bordered by a solid blue cotton fabric. The lined bodice is made from a horizontal stripe of the same patchwork, which has an open back that laces up like a corset. The bodice also has darts for comfort and support and there is a stash pocket on the inside.

Measurements:
Bodice (loop to loop, this is the actual measurement, not bra size!): 32" - 40"
Bodice (top to bottom): 8"
Length (top of bodice to hem ~ total length, not including straps): 52"
Spin: 96"

All the seams have been serged and then top stitched for maximum durability. Although this is a very durable piece of clothing, I would recommend hand washing and laying it flat to dry. Of course you can machine wash and dry it, but you are always taking the risk that a strap may get caught on something and... uh-oh!!! If you do choose to machine wash and dry, please make the extra effort to use a mesh lingerie washing bag - just in case!
