a burst of sunshine

Description

I sat down with some fabric, some ribbon, and some thread, and out of it all came this hair comb. There is a couple layers of white tulle, white fabric, a purple ribbon piece, and two shades of yellow ribbon pieces all hand sewn to a metal hair comb with gray thread. The edges are left raw and the edges of the tulle are starting to fray a bit, but I think that just adds a little character to the piece.

I like the metal hair combs better than the plastic ones because they seem to stay put in my super fine hair better.

I'm not entirely sure if I am going to continue making hair pieces, so these few might be a one time thing or you might see more like it in the future. I guess that depends on how well these go over. If you would like something of a similiar style but different colors, don't hesitate to contact me and I will gladly put something together.
