Original Illustration - Collecting Coral

Description

This is an original watercolour painting of pieces of red coral.

I was recently re-stringing an old necklace my auntie gave me made of red coral. I think nowadays you're not allowed to buy or sell it as it's a protected species but the stuff that is still about from the 1950s is worth looking out for, the colour is just beautiful!

Whilst restringing the little bits of coral it reminded me of a painting of twigs I did lately and I thought it would be fun to make a collection painting in that lovely orangey coral red. I hope you like the result.

The watercolour is painted directly onto fresh white card measuring 9 x 9" ready for you to frame.

All work is signed and dated and will be supplied wrapped in tissue paper and sandwiched between rigid card for posting.
