Vintage Slate Gray Suede Oxfords

Description

Dark slate gray suede oxfords with chunky heels and square-ish toes, circa 1960s or 1970s. These great shoes have interesting oval lacehole grommets and shiny gray rayon laces.

(Shoes do not come with the stretchers pictured!)

We recently purchased the estate of a woman who was a bit of a fashion hound. She bought clothes, hats, and shoes by the armful, at sample sales and end of season sales, from the 1940s through the 1970s. She never threw out a thing. They are now--literally!--filling our garage. I will be offering the best picks from this incredible find in the SmallEarthVintage Etsy shop!

*Size is marked 8 B--they will most likely fit a current day foot that wears a smaller size. Please use the measurements provided, and compare to a pair of similar shoes that *do* fit, to determine if they'll work for you. Insoles measure 9 11/16" (24.5 cm) toe to heel; outside bottom soles measure 3 1/8" (8 cm) across the widest point; heels measure 2 1/4" (5.75 cm) high
*Uppers are suede; soles are manmade
*Uppers show some minor scuffs, and are in exceellent condition overall
*Insoles are peeling up a bit
*Soles show light allover wear
