Beautiful Vintage Lucchese Cowboy Boots, Rich Mahogany Brown Western Cowboy Boots Mens 8 1/2 D



At the young age of 17, Sam Lucchese and his brothers came to America in 1880 to establish the Lucchese Boot Company in San Antonio Texas. In the 1960's Sam Lucchese Jr. designed the high quality and comfortable fitting boot with it's one-of-a-kind boot last, that is known today as one of the finest boots you can buy.


These classic Lucchese (Loo-K-C), western cowboy boots are just beautiful and in a shiny rich mahogany brown leather. This leather looks to possibly be buffalo, goat or other exotic leather as it doesn't look to be the usual cowhide. I would say the finish is more of a dress boot look. The finish is shiny with lots of finer wrinkle pattern to the shaft. The shaft has a triple needle pattern of curls and diamonds and the toes have rows of raised leather stitch-work. New Lucchese 1883 boots in a similar style run in the $500.00 to $600.00 range and exotics and tooled leather boots run into the several thousands believe it or not! Buying vintage gets you top quality at a fantastic price!

These boots are hand lasted full welt construction and made in the USA in El Paso Texas as all Lucchese boots still are today. The soles are leather with stacked heels and a hard rubber sole. Please note that the soles are pegged, not just stitched, a sign to look for in a quality collectible vintage western style boot.

This is a high quality Lucchese boot and as far as condition, I see some light scuffs at the heels with one heel showing "driver foot" wear to the right heel. The heels have a bit of outer edge wear down on the hard rubber which of course can be replaced in the future. There is also a scratched area under the right side of the right boot pull. The left toe has a few more noticeable dings but overall excellent condition! Boots like these are ones you will wear for years and years as they never go out of style!


I understand the difficulty of purchasing footwear without being able to try them on. I have provided many measurements but if you need any further, please convo me. These are marked inside as a mens 8 1/2 D which I think means regular.
