This piece, as most of our jewelry, uses Karen Hill Tribe silver which is 99% silver and Bali silver, making it the finest silver available today. All Thai silver findings are handmade by the Karen Hill Tribe Indians which accounts for the uniqueness of each bead. The added silver content of the findings slows the tarnishing process, which is a real advantage. Storing your jewelry in a sealed plastic bag will all but stop the oxidation.
